Mirada Purple – Al Waha Overview
First Impressions
Walking into Mirada Purple – Al Waha, you immediately notice the thoughtful attention to detail that sets this three-star hotel apart from the typical mid-range options in Jeddah. The lobby has this welcoming purple accent theme — hence the name — that actually works better than you’d expect. It’s not overwhelming, just distinctive enough to feel like someone put real thought into the design. The staff greets you with genuine warmth, and honestly, that personal touch makes all the difference when you’re navigating a new city.
Location & Neighborhood
The Al Waha District location is honestly one of the hotel’s strongest selling points, and I can see why couples rate it so highly. You’re positioned on Al Hajjaj Bin Masoud Street, which puts you in this sweet spot where you feel connected to the city without being overwhelmed by the chaos of downtown Jeddah. The neighborhood has that lived-in feel — you know, actual residents going about their daily lives, local cafes, and small shops that give you a real sense of the city. Plus, having free private parking here is actually a huge deal if you’re planning to rent a car and explore beyond the immediate area.
The Rooms
The rooms are what I’d call smartly designed rather than spacious — they make good use of the available space without feeling cramped. The purple accent theme continues here, but it’s subtle enough that it won’t clash with your own belongings scattered around. Air conditioning works reliably (crucial in Jeddah’s climate), and the beds are genuinely comfortable. I mean, you’re not getting five-star thread counts, but you’ll sleep well. The bathrooms are clean and functional, with decent water pressure that doesn’t leave you standing under a trickle.
Practical Considerations
What really impressed me about this place is how they handle the practical stuff that can make or break a stay. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the property — not just in the lobby like some places. The front desk staff seems to genuinely know the area well, so when you ask for restaurant recommendations or directions, you get useful answers rather than generic tourist suggestions. That free parking I mentioned earlier? It’s properly secure, which gives you peace of mind if you’re driving in an unfamiliar city.
Why Guests Love It
There’s something refreshing about a hotel that knows exactly what it is and executes that vision well. Mirada Purple – Al Waha doesn’t try to be something it’s not — it’s a solid, well-run three-star property that delivers on its promises. The location consistently earns high marks because it strikes that perfect balance between accessibility and authenticity. You’re close enough to major attractions and business districts, but you’re also experiencing a slice of real Jeddah life. For the price point, you’re getting reliable comfort, genuinely helpful service, and a base that works whether you’re here for business or exploring the city with someone special.

Need to improve washroom things. The water taps were not working properly. Rooms were so big. It was really good. But the problem was it was smelly in the room. I don’t know what smell was that! Dining room should have been more organised.
